Overview
Inabia is seeking a Senior IT HCM Business Systems Analyst to own the business-side execution of a Dayforce HCM implementation. This role serves as the internal subject-matter expert bridging business stakeholders and the system integrator across Core HR, Workforce Management, Payroll, and Benefits. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on Dayforce configuration and implementation experience and is prepared to step into an active mid-implementation environment and drive a successful go-live.
Responsibilities
- Act as the IT-HCM subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders to define and document business requirements
- Configure, administer, and continuously optimize Dayforce across Core HR, WFM, Payroll, and Benefits modules
- Guide and validate the implementation partner's approach and best practices through go-live
- Communicate major Dayforce release updates and their downstream impact to HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform audits and validations to ensure ongoing data integrity
- Develop and execute test plans and audit processes; secure formal business sign-off
- Partner with developers on integrations to third-party vendors and enterprise systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and test scripts
- Support compliance requirements, JSOX audit obligations, and year-end payroll processing activities
Key Qualifications
- Implementation-level expertise across Dayforce Core HR, WFM, Payroll, and Benefits modules
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst on the IT side of HR, Benefits, and Payroll, including multiple system integrations
- Deep understanding of how backend HR and employee data interacts with third-party providers and external applications
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into system configuration and communicate configuration decisions back to business stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of benefits and payroll integration with Finance (GL posting) and third-party providers such as tax agencies, garnishment processors, and benefits carriers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with union environments and California labor law, including meal and rest break rules, split shifts, overtime calculations, and final pay requirements
- SAP exposure to support continuity of an existing SAP ERP during the HCM transition period
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- SAP, SuccessFactors, or PMP certification
