Remedy Specialized Developer
Qualifications
· Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar support environment, with a strong focus on real-time monitoring, alarm response, and incident resolution.
· Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, including the ability to navigate the system, run predefined scripts, and perform basic troubleshooting (no scripting or coding required, but ability to identify and resolve script-related issues is a plus).
· Strong technical aptitude with the ability to follow detailed runbooks and resolution steps to address system alerts and incidents—attention to detail is critical.
· Hands-on experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy or similar platforms to track and manage incidents and service requests.
· Analytical mindset to monitor system performance (e.g., WebLogic servers), track CPU/disk usage, identify performance thresholds, and escalate when necessary.
· Prior experience in supporting infrastructure systems such as provisioning, DNS/DHCP, email servers, device activations, or data center remote support is a plus. Job Summary
· Responsible for assisting design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide Operations Support Systems (OSS) applications and their associated operating systems and databases.
· Responsible for Application Administration of OSS applications supporting all Charter Divisions. Participation in the full life cycle of systems engineering activities of high-quality, scalable solutions.
