Business Analyst Premium III (Capital Markets BA)
$53 - $55 per hour
4 Days onsite in DC Office


Scope of Work
  • The candidate will be responsible for completion of assigned duties and report to the Team Lead. The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions:
  • Analyze data and reporting requirement for various facets of post-execution activities for fixed income (fixed and floating rate bonds, MBS, ABS), derivatives (futures, options, swaps), and cash products (repo, Money-market, FX);
  • Must be able to independently analyze data in the reports to understand them in conjunction to the data model and document the requirement.
  • Liaise with Headquarters staff located in Washington, DC, specifically the Team Lead and the Lead Business Analyst.
  • Use communication skills to work with end users in analyzing their requirements.
  • Use analytical skills to learn our users’ business processes, document the data and process models and troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.

Skill Set Requirements
 
  • Experience with programing, quantitative, and analytical skills, including with Cloud, Dremio will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with business-related IT development or IT technology projects, also with user acceptance testing and its related documentation. Previous exposure to FinTech related knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge of Capital & Investment Markets and Performance Attribution.
  • Understanding of Murex data and ability to analyze requirement for end user reports.
  • Ability to interact with clients and document the current business processes/reports.
  • Document the logic/calculation/data required for building the reports on a data management system.
  • Perform data analysis as needed and document the calculations performed in a report.
  • Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills
