Job Description 3: Senior Telecom Engineer / Engineer – Design Support & Validation
Role Overview
The Senior Telecom Engineer / Engineer supports detailed engineering through utility checks, 
documentation, ensuring design accuracy and compliance with EPC standards.
Key Responsibilities
• 5+ years industry experience in a network operations/support environment; relevant 
experience in Network Design; Experience Network Administrator
• Cisco CCNA/ CCNP
• Technical ability to understand the issues related to day-to-day Concept & FEED Program of 
Oil & Gas
• Experience in Dimensioning Fiber network
• Experience in Fiber Link Budget calculation
• Experience in Fiber Cable & Core Selection
• Previous Experience in creating BOM & BOQ for Fiber greenfield or Brownfield program
• Perform utility conflict analysis and clash identification from telecom side to ensure 
constructability, safety, and compliance with project standards 
• Support the preparation, validation, and review of telecom layouts and detailed engineering 
drawings 
• Develop and review layouts, routing drawings, block diagrams, and engineering schedules 
using AutoCAD 
• Assist lead engineers during design reviews, design updates, and technical clarifications with 
clients and stakeholders 
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with EPC specifications, codes, and project 
requirements
Experience & Qualifications
• 6–10 years of experience in telecom engineering for Oil & Gas / Industrial projects
• Exposure to detailed engineering and EPC documentation cycles
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
