Key Responsibilities:Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images for radiologists.
Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Review patient history and imaging orders to determine appropriate scanning protocols.
Administer contrast media as needed, following safety protocols and patient screening procedures.
Monitor patients during procedures for any adverse reactions or complications.
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment according to manufacturer and departmental standards.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation for compliance purposes.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety and infection control regulations.
