Job description:


The Wi-Fi Architect will design, develop, implement, and analyze product requirements for Wi-Fi architecture on Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) products.

The role involves optimizing Wi-Fi radio and antenna parameters to enhance the customer experience and developing metrics to measure improvement.


Responsibilities include building setups to simulate real-world conditions, researching traffic models, and analyzing industry trends for lab testing.

The Wi-Fi Architect will collaborate with project teams to develop test strategies and establish best practices.

This position requires understanding deployment manuals and automation solutions in a fast-paced DevOps environment, quickly tailoring solutions to identify, reproduce, and resolve lab/field defects. The architect will lead teams and projects, sharing expertise in complex environments.


Key Qualifications: 8+years of Experience with WLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) Expertise in security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X) Familiarity with Wi-Fi extenders, mesh, and steering protocols (802.11k, 802.11v, 802.11r) Strong collaboration with Product and Development teams to define technical requirements Ability to characterize Wi-Fi behavior in new products and resolve engineering challenges Communication with tool development teams to optimize automation for new test features Review and validate design specifications, emphasizing product architecture, testability, and verification Assist in developing Quality Assurance strategies and methodologies for product testing Familiarity with advanced Wi-Fi test automation frameworks and industry standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF) Proactively identify and resolve product defects, driving issues to resolution
