Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Overview
Inabia is seeking an experienced LPN or RN to join their Skilled Nursing and Home for the Aged (HFA) units. This position requires a seasoned nurse who can adapt to changing patient care needs and work flexibly between both buildings on the campus.
The facility values nurses who are dependable and adaptable, and they often extend travel assignments for strong performers.
Work Environment
The campus includes two care settings:
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) – providing higher-acuity long-term and post-acute care
HFA (Home for the Aged / Residential Living) – serving residents requiring supportive living care
Nurses may be assigned to both areas depending on patient needs and staffing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in SNF and residential care settings.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to coordinate patient care.
Support residents’ daily care needs and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist with ventilator care when required.
Requirements
Active Michigan RN or LPN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
Ventilator experience required
BCLS certification required
Must meet facility compliance requirements including:
DHHS background clearance
National / State / County background check
10-panel drug screen
2-step TB test
Immunizations: Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella
COVID-19 vaccination or approved declination documentation
Schedule & Pay Details
12-hour night shifts
36 hours guaranteed per week
30-minute unpaid lunch break each shift
Overtime occasionally available (flat OT rate)
Shift schedules may change prior to placement due to patient care needs.
