Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing inpatient and infusion pharmacy operations. You will act as a key liaison between clinical practice, hospital executives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and rigorous regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Manage inpatient and infusion pharmacy operations across the regional enterprise.
Strategic Planning: Optimize operational and project budgets, driving efficiency in pharmacy workflows.
Collaboration: Bridge clinical practice with hospital executive leadership and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to foster a high-performing environment.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, hospital policies, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
Required Qualifications
Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.
Licensure: Must possess an active Washington State Pharmacist License at hire; NPI number required within 6 months.
Experience:
5+ years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting (or 3+ years plus a PGY1 residency).
3+ years of direct people management experience.
2+ years of operational or project budget management.
Compensation & Benefits
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000.
