Step-Down Registered Nurse

This position supports nursing operations within a Step-Down setting. The assignment is intended for a qualified Registered Nurse who meets the experience and certification requirements listed below.

The selected nurse will complete the assigned clinical responsibilities and maintain required electronic records. Candidates must also be prepared for an ASAP start.

Position Details

• Location: 810 Saint Vincents Drive, Birmingham, AL 35205

• Shift: 12-hour day shift

• Start: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned Registered Nurse duties within the Step-Down unit.

• Provide nursing care during scheduled daytime hours.

• Complete required clinical documentation using Cerner.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credentials.

• Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.

• Previous travel nursing experience.

• Current Basic Life Support certification.

• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
