Medical-Surgical RN

A Medical-Surgical RN is needed for a contract assignment in Honesdale, Pennsylvania 18431. The position is based at 601 Park Street and supports a combined medical-surgical and progressive care service.
The RN will provide overnight coverage for the assigned patient population during a 13-week contract. The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday, and block scheduling is not offered for this opening.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for patients assigned to the Med-Surg/PCU service.
  • Assess patient needs and communicate relevant findings to the care team.
  • Coordinate patient-centered care throughout the overnight shift.
  • Complete required clinical documentation and follow unit procedures.
  • Meet the alternating weekend and holiday coverage requirements.

Qualifications

  • RN qualifications appropriate for a Medical-Surgical assignment.
  • Ability to work 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shifts.
  • Availability for the full 13-week contract.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and holiday without block scheduling.
