About the Role

Inabia Solutions & Consulting Inc. is seeking a hands-on Tanium Consultant to support a confidential enterprise client. You will administer the Tanium environment, improve endpoint visibility, and deliver reliable patching, software deployment, and vulnerability remediation. This role works closely with infrastructure, endpoint engineering, and security teams to turn compliance findings into completed, verified actions.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Tanium platform services, modules, and clients, including configuration, upgrades, endpoint onboarding, and health monitoring.

Troubleshoot client connectivity, missing endpoint data, failed deployments, and platform performance issues.

Configure endpoint groups, targeting rules, permissions, and deployment controls to support secure administration.

Plan and execute patch deployments using test groups, maintenance windows, and approval processes. Track failures, coordinate remediation, and verify compliance.

Package, test, schedule, and monitor software installations, updates, and removals.

Configure vulnerability and configuration compliance assessments, prioritize findings with security teams, and validate remediation.

Maintain asset inventory and identify unmanaged endpoints or coverage gaps.

Create Tanium queries, reports, and dashboards covering endpoint health, patch compliance, vulnerabilities, and deployment results.

Develop scripts and API integrations to automate recurring tasks and connect Tanium with enterprise workflows.

Document configurations, operating procedures, and changes, and recommend improvements to endpoint management practices.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of enterprise endpoint management experience, including hands-on Tanium administration.

Practical experience with Tanium capabilities for patching, software deployment, asset inventory, and vulnerability or compliance assessment.

Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows endpoints, with working knowledge of macOS and Linux.

Ability to manage deployment targeting, testing, scheduling, exception handling, and post-deployment validation.

Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting, plus familiarity with API integrations.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Ability to work onsite in Seattle 1–2 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Tanium Interact, Patch, Deploy, Comply, Asset, Discover, and Connect.

Experience supporting Tanium clients on AIX or Solaris.

Familiarity with Tanium API Gateway (GraphQL) and REST APIs.

Experience integrating endpoint data with IT service management, CMDB, or security monitoring platforms.

Experience supporting regulated or cleared enterprise environments.

Relevant Tanium certifications.
