QUALIFICATIONS
Key Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions aligned with IT Asset Management processes and organizational standards.
· Configure and maintain HAM lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, stockroom management, asset assignment, transfer, refresh, and disposal.
· Implement and manage integrations with procurement systems, MDM tools, SCCM, Intune, Discovery, and third-party asset inventory sources.
· Configure and maintain CMDB relationships between assets and Configuration Items (CIs), including reconciliation and de-duplication activities.
· Support asset normalization, model management, manufacturer/vendor data governance, and device type mapping activities.
· Configure and support Service Bridge and eBonding integrations for seamless data exchange with external vendors, support partners, and enterprise platforms.
· Support asset audit processes including physical inventory validation, discrepancy tracking, compliance reporting, and audit remediation activities.
· Develop workflows and automations for asset request fulfillment, device possession tracking, stockroom operations, and return management.
· Develop ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, ACLs, Notifications, and Catalog Items.
· Create reports, dashboards, and Platform Analytics visualizations for asset lifecycle tracking, compliance, inventory accuracy, and operational insights.
· Participate in instance upgrades, cloning, update set management, testing, and deployment activities across environments.
· Collaborate with ITSM, CMDB, Procurement, Security, and Endpoint Management teams to ensure accurate asset tracking and governance.
Technical Skills:
· Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow HAM implementation, development, and configuration.
· Good understanding of IT Asset Management lifecycle processes and CMDB concepts.
· Experience with Asset Management modules including Stockrooms, Consumables, Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders, and Asset States.
· Experience with Discovery, SCCM/Intune integrations, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and REST/SOAP APIs.
· Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
· Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Catalog development.
· Knowledge of CMDB architecture, CSDM concepts, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
· Understanding of ServiceNow best practices, scoped applications, upgrade handling, and instance management.
