Position Overview

Inabia is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Rehabilitation Therapy team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

The therapist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to provide patient-centered care and help individuals regain communication abilities and functional independence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.

  • Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home programs.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and therapy notes according to facility and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to ensure coordinated patient care.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Active state license or compact license required.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.

  • New graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
