Role Overview

As a Program Controls Analyst, you will be the backbone of program management, engineering, and finance teams. You will be responsible for monitoring cost, schedule, and resource performance. This role is essential for ensuring that mission-critical programs meet contractual reporting requirements while providing actionable insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Analysis: Interpret program performance data to provide key insights to PMO staff and engineering teams.

  • Reporting Compliance: Prepare and deliver reports in strict compliance with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Earned Value Management (EVM) formats (1–5).

  • Financial Oversight: Track cost, schedule, and resource allocation against established budgets and forecasts.

  • Risk Management: Assist Program Managers in identifying project risks, opportunities, and executing mitigation plans.

  • Stakeholder Support: Support the preparation of financial briefings, executive presentations, and status reports for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in program controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), or program finance.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Proven ability to create dashboards and executive-level summaries.

  • Clearance: TS/SCI clearance preferred. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Soft Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within both large and small project teams.

  • Preferred: Prior experience with proposal development.
