Requirements:
• 5+ years RN experience
• 5+ years in psychiatry
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Must have psych unit management experience in a hospital
• Active NY RN License, BLS & ACLS

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the psychiatric unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective team coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a psych unit within a hospital setting and demonstrate excellence in leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the behavioral health unit
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, JCAHO, and other regulatory standards
• Manage admissions, discharges, and care planning
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and data reporting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide administrative leadership and staff supervision
