AV Support

New York, NY
Contracted to Full Time
Experienced

Overview

Inabia is seeking an AV & Collaboration (AV&C) Support Contractor to own day-to-day operational support for our New York City office over a 6-month onsite engagement. This role is critical to stabilizing daily AV operations, allowing internal AV Engineers to focus on infrastructure projects, office builds, and larger engineering initiatives. The position is open to mid-level through senior candidates and offers a clear growth path into broader AV engineering responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day AV support operations (business as usual)
  • Perform daily room readiness checks and sweeps across all collaboration spaces
  • Manage and respond to AV&C support tickets in Zendesk
  • Handle real-time issue triage and escalation
  • Support conference rooms, executive spaces (including the CEO office), and other collaboration environments
  • Monitor system performance and proactively flag emerging issues
  • Follow documentation standards and ensure consistent execution across builds and room refreshes
  • Support both onsite and remote troubleshooting as needed

Key Qualifications

  • Mid-level through senior AV support or engineering experience (approximately 3+ years)
  • Strong hands-on operational support background; this is an operations-focused role, not a pure engineering or design position
  • Proven experience managing high-volume ticket queues in live, high-visibility environments
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced corporate office setting
  • Zendesk experience required
  • Zoom experience required (organization is primarily a Zoom environment)
  • Familiarity with Neat and Logitech hardware
  • Ability to assess issues and determine the appropriate remote vs. onsite resolution path

Preferred Qualifications

  • Jira exposure
  • Microsoft Teams exposure
  • Experience supporting or coordinating with global teams across multiple locations (e.g., NYC, Dublin, India)

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
