Job Title: Agile Product Management Senior Advisor
Location: St. Louis, Missouri (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Rate: $36 - $38 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and strategic direction in Agile product management, focusing on delivering value to customers and driving continuous improvement.
• Lead Agile teams using Scrum methodologies, ensuring clear communication, efficient sprint planning, and timely product delivery.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements for new product features and improvements.
• Manage product development processes using tools such as JIRA and Confluence to ensure seamless collaboration, transparency, and tracking of progress.
• Utilize your thought leadership to guide the product team in adopting best practices, overcoming challenges, and optimizing workflows.
• Develop and maintain detailed business requirements and specifications for product features and enhancements.
• Ensure alignment between product development efforts and organizational goals, including budget considerations, project timelines, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different teams to ensure that Point of Sale (POS) systems and related products meet customer needs and business requirements.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster a collaborative, results-driven work environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Agile Product Management, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum methodology.
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, with the ability to lead Agile teams effectively using these tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate ideas, product requirements, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid experience working with business requirements, including gathering, writing, and prioritizing requirements.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and their integration into product development processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a budget, manage project timelines, and track resources effectively.
• A strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think strategically and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience in leadership roles with demonstrated thought leadership and mentorship in product management.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and ensuring the financial success of product initiatives.
