Job Description 2: Lead Telecom Engineer – Network Design & Engineering
Location: Vadodara / Faridabad – India Offshore
Role Overview
The Lead Telecom Engineer is responsible for end-to-end telecom and fiber network engineering,
including site measurements, geotechnical assessments, and detailed design.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead telecom and network system design (Fiber, LAN/WAN, Transmission) in alignment with
EPC and client standards
• Develop, review, and govern key engineering deliverables, including:
• Network architectures and high-level block diagrams
• Layouts, routing drawings, and termination schedules
• Prepare and validate detailed design documentation using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy
and constructability
• Serve as the primary technical interface across clients, vendors, and EPC
multi-disciplinary teams
• Support technical clarifications and design alignment during FEED and detailed
engineering phases
Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in telecom engineering, with at least 4–5 years in a lead role
• Strong background in Oil & Gas / Industrial EPC projects
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Core Skills
• AutoCAD-based telecom design and drawing reviews
• Fiber optic and IP network design
• Multi-disciplinary EPC coordination
• Offshore delivery management
